It’s LINEART TIME again!! Yay!

Just as the previous portrait of Lars & Gretchen, this illustration is inspired by my novel The World Below (which I’m still writing and I’m fairly behind). I’m planning a set of portraits of the main characters (they’ll be 7 in total, I think) which will hopefully be followed by more illustrations and more book (which I’m writing in italian, of course).
So, here in an awkward hug you can see Aglaja Levovskaya and Nikola Argen-Meglič. They’re friends in a complicated relationship, colleagues in the Damascus department of Nova Angeli.

Aglaja is a hot-tempered weapons enthusiast with the heart of a little girl. Her military education somehow helps to mitigate her huffy character, but she can get really difficult to handle. The people she loves the most are usually the favourite victims of her aggressivity. Pointlessly jealous of both Lars and Nikola.

Nikola is a light-hearted guy whose life has been greatly influenced by Nova Angeli, since his father holds a powerful role in the high ranks. He has a weak spot for women, he likes it, and is thus committed to never get into a long lasting relationship. He loves Aglaja dearly despite sometimes she gets really nasty at him. He’s a pretty good guitar player.

Just like Gretchen Franke, they are platinums, operative captains subordinates to Lars Hansen.
